Growth Center
A growth chart shows roughly where a child's height, weight, and head circumference fall compared to peers of the same age. It is a reference, not a diagnosis.
Recording your own measurements is Korean-only for now
What "average" really means here
What people commonly call the "average" height or weight is usually the 50th percentile (median) of the official growth chart — the value exactly in the middle if you lined up 100 same-age peers. It is not the same as an arithmetic mean of every child's measurement, and it is not a pass/fail threshold.
This information is based on official data and healthcare programs in South Korea. Growth references, screening schedules, vaccination programs, and healthcare systems may differ by country.
